The match didn’t start the way Bangladeshi wanted, Shaheen Shah Afridi, master of new ball started with a wicket in his first over. He completed his 100th ODI wicket in 51 ODIs and became the fastest pacer to claim this achievement.

Shaheen Shah Afridi was not done there, in his second over he continued to haunt the Bangladeshi batsmans, a promising batsman became his second victim. Shaheen’s ability to swing the ball and generate pace was on full display.

Despite the Early wickets, Bangladesh didn’t give in easily. Litton Das scored 45 off 64 balls and his friend batter also added 56 off 70 balls. The experienced captain Shakib al Hasan also played a vital role and scored 43 runs off 64 balls.
