Early Age of Shaheen Shah Afridi:
Shaheen Shah Afridi was born on 6 April 2000 in Peshawar, Pakistan. He is a Pakistani professional fast bowler in Pakistan Nation Team (PCB). He is a left-arm pacer. He belongs to a small town located in the northwestern area of Pakistan. They are a total of seven brothers in their family and Shaheen is the youngest among them. Shaheen has had a dream to become a cricketer ever since his eldest brother whose name is Riaz Afridi.
Shaheen Shah Afridi Cricket Career:
He is playing in Pakistan’s local domestic matches and got a chance to represent Pakistan in a single international test match. Everybody like Shaheen Shah Afridi for his fast-swing bowling. The 22 years old Pakistani cricketer is a fast bowler who bowls at a speed of 140+ km/hr. Shaheen Shah Afridi started his international career when he was selected in the Pakistan Under-19 squad for the international tournament and put up a superb and excellent performance. After this, he was selected for many foreign leagues. He was the part of Under-19 Cricket World Cup and he performed there very well and impressed everybody soon he got a chance to represent from Pakistan national team (PCB). Now he has represented Pakistan in all three formats test internationals, One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals.
Shaheen Shah Afridi (PSL) Career:
In the 2016 Pakistan Super League (PSL) he was selected by Lahore Qalandars as an Emerging Player and now he become the Captain of Lahore Qalandars and won a title for them. Under his captaincy, Lahore Qalandars won Trophy. Now Lahore Qalandars have improved in his captaincy of Lahore Qalandar. Shaheen Afridi, the 22-year-old, young fast bowler has uploaded a photo of himself in the new jersey of Lahore Qalandars on social media. On sharing his photo, he wrote in this caption, ‘How is my new kit? Lately, he said that he had designed this sweatshirt by himself. But in reality, he has not designed it.
Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Wife:
Shaheen Shah Afridi is engaged in 2021 Shahid Afridi’s elder daughter Ansha Shahid Afridi. He married Shahid Afridi Daughter Ansha Afridi in a private nikah ceremony held on 3 February 2023 in Karachi. His reception was held later which was attended by Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Family members and his Pakistani teammates and the couple’s mehndi ceremony was held on Thursday. They have been engaged for the last two years. Now Shahid Afridi is his Personal Family member and they both have the same cast, Afridi.
Shaheen Shah Afridi Achievements:
- PCB’s best performance of the year in 2021Shaheen Shah Afridi was named in the ICC Men’s Test Team of the Year 2021 as a fast bowler.
- Shaheen Shah was Named to the ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year 2021 as a fast bowler.
- Shaheen Shah Afridi also won the Sir Garfield Sobers award for the ICC Men’s Cricket of the Year of 2021.

- Became K-P police goodwill ambassador in 2022.
